We are expanding our in-house design team by recruiting an experienced electrical designer to work in our friendly Bromsgrove office.
Responsible for
- Producing electrical designs for new-build construction projects, from information provided in initial tender specification
- Designs to include LV distribution, containment, power and lighting, co-ordination with other services
- Producing LV schematic and layout drawings
- Selection and appraisal of suppliers and their design submission, including lighting design
- Attending design and pre-let meetings with clients
- Cable calculations & circuit design
- Preparation of documentation
- Co-ordination of design at all stages
- Design of value-engineering solutions
Skills and experience
- Min 5 years’ experience
- 18th Edition qualified
- Amtech Pro-design software
- Dialux / Relux
- Autocad 2d
