Vacancy – BIM Manager

We are expanding our in-house drawing team by recruiting an experienced electrical BIM manager to work in our friendly Bromsgrove office.

Responsible for
  • Producing electrical drawings from architect drawings
  • Co-ordination of MEP services
  • Clash detection & associated meetings
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of BIM from the ground-up
  • Managing the drawing team / co-ordination of works
Skills and experience
  • Trained in BIM 1 and 2
  • Experienced with Autocad, Autodesk Revit, BIM 360
  • Previous experience in electrical drawing would be advantageous
  • Previous experience setting up a BIM infrastructure from scratch
  • You need to be fantastic at managing your time, prioritising and meeting deadlines
  • You need to set up tracking systems / programs to manage workloads
  • You need to be able to cope with a high volume of drawing changes
  • You need to be very organised, able to work with existing procedures and improve as required
  • You need to be good at communicating with the wider team, managers, directors and clients
  • You need to love working under pressure and multi-tasking
  • Experience managing a small drawing team
